GT-1® MAX

Kendall GT-1® MAX Motor Oil with LiquiTek is a full-synthetic automotive engine oil providing engine protection for turbocharged gasoline direct injection, conventional gasoline and flex-fueled cars and light trucks.

This engine oil is formulated from top quality synthetic base stocks to provide extreme protection for your engine while extending drain intervals. LiquiTek additive package increases cleanliness and reduces wear. Reduced wear helps improve fuel economy performance (beyond ILSAC GF-6 requirements).

It is uniquely formulated to help combat low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) in turbocharged gasoline direct injection engines. It is backward serviceable for use where API SN or earlier “S” category engine oils are recommended.

Kendall GT-1 Max with Liquid Titanium is changing to a new additive technology called LiquiTek. This new additive formulation meets and exceed the newest API SP and ILSAC GF-6 Specifications. Additionally, Kendall GT-1 MAX now meets GM’s dexos1 Gen2 Specification.

This product particularly recommended for vehicles operating at extreme temperatures or under severe driving conditions, such as those towing heavy loads or those subject to high speeds, operating temperatures, and long distances.

Full-Synthetic Motor Oils aren't often considered true petroleum-based oils. Technically, yes, the finished product is virtually void of any crude oil, but this isn't to suggest that this is not the right fluid for your vehicle. Turns out, the purer, artificial formulations are likely the preferable choice -- the fluids are clean, free of waxes and other naturally occurring oil-based debris. In 2020, American Petroleum Institute (API) and the International Lubricant Specification Advisory Committee (ILSAC) issued new performance standards for engine oils to provide better fuel economy and also combat low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) in modern turbo charged engines. This new standard is referred to as API SP and ILSAC GF-6. This specification is backwards compatible to previous generation standards. With this greatly improved performance standard, Kendall decided to rename it’s premium additive package to reflect this change.
